UHG Founders & CEO
Dr Brandon Carp graduated medicine with honours in 1987 and continued in clinical practice till 2008. In 1997 he founded UHG and was Managing Director until 2014 when he assumed the role of Executive Chairman until 2019.
Brandon has a history of driving innovation in healthcare having been a co-founder of Salus Healthcare and Dr Know Magazine and in 2014 was nominated for Australian EY Entrepreneur Of The Year. Brandon holds an honorary position at Monash University’s Department of Public Health and Preventative Medicine.
Nicky Carp has had more than two decades’ experience in the healthcare sector, commencing with law firm Philips Fox before joining UHG in 1999. Initially providing innovative healthcare solutions to businesses, the UHG founders recognised the frustrations faced by businesses and healthcare providers from interactions and guided UHG’s strategic direction towards achieving better outcomes. Nicky provides legal, financial and strategic input, chaired the Governance Committee (2015-19) and lead M&A transactions at UHG.
Nicky is a board member of NGO Flying Fox and led the successful certification of UHG as a B Corporation. She has Bachelor degrees in Law, Economics and Accounting from Monash University, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching.
Rob has over 20 years experience in Executive roles helping organisations deliver better outcomes to clients by building high performing teams, developing smart business processes and leveraging the latest technology.
Throughout his career, Rob has worked in a diverse range of environments delivering advanced IT and sophisticated service solutions to top-tier corporates and government organisations.
Prior to joining UHG Rob was CEO of ASX listed Real Estate Corp Limited and is currently a Board member of Care Connect.
